Well, the good news is that I am running out of things to do on the car and feel the time has come to book my SVA test and give it a go!
I've been working steadily over the past few weeks getting all the last minute jobs completed and I think I am within 10-20 hours of completion. One of the main jobs still to do is to spray the bodywork but I am in two minds whether to do this myself or just do the prep and primer and get it top-coated elsewhere. I'd love to give it a go but paint costs a fortune these days and I don't want to waste £40 worth of paint and end up with a big mess!
Anyway, bear with me over the next few weeks as I complete my SVA preparation. I need to arrange insurance for the car and get an engine date certificate from the heritage motor centre. Then I should be ready for SVA...
Wish me luck!!
